creepy text to speech

Paste a horror story, a Halloween script, or a line of dialogue and hear it spoken by a voice built for dread. Four voices cover the classic horror palette: a deep ominous narrator, a ghostly whisper, an old raspy storyteller, and a demon. Preview each sample, then generate and download an MP3.

Voxelle turns any script into a creepy or horror-style voice with the Fish Audio s2.1-pro model — preview ominous, ghostly, raspy and demonic voices, then download the MP3. The free tier needs a Google sign-in and a daily check-in for 1,500 characters (resets at 00:00 UTC, no rollover); each request is capped at 1,000 characters. Commercial use requires a paid plan.

How it works

Type your script, pick one of the four horror voices, and preview its sample. Sign in with Google, check in to claim daily characters, then generate and download an MP3 for your video, game, or haunted house. The samples demonstrate each voice; they are not generated from your script.

Writing for speech

Creepy delivery lives in pacing. Use short sentences and ellipses for pauses, avoid exclamation marks, and let lines trail off. Voxelle adds no background effects — write the tension into the words and layer music or reverb separately if you need it.

The old house at the end of the road has been waiting for you. It remembers every guest who never left. And tonight... it remembers your name.

Ways to use it

  • Halloween videos, shorts, and horror content.
  • Narrating scary stories, creepypasta, or campfire tales.
  • Voicing monsters, ghosts, or villains for games and tabletop sessions.
  • Prank audio and haunted-house sound design.

Frequently asked questions

Is the creepy text to speech tool free?
Yes. Sign in with Google and check in each UTC day to claim 1,500 characters daily. Allowances expire at 00:00 UTC and generation is also subject to shared service limits.
What creepy voices can I use?
Four horror-style voices are available: a deep Ominous Narrator, a Ghostly Whisper, an old Raspy Storyteller, and a Demon Voice. Each has a public sample you can preview before generating.
Can I make a demon or monster voice?
Yes. The Demon Voice preset delivers a deep, reverberant, monstrous tone while staying clearly intelligible — useful for villains, monsters, and game characters. Pair it with short, deliberate lines for the strongest effect.
Can I use the generated audio commercially?
The free tier is for personal, non-commercial evaluation. Paid plans include a commercial license for generated audio. Voice identity rights are not transferred; check our terms before publishing.
Do I need a credit card to use the free tier?
No. The free tier needs only a Google sign-in and a daily check-in; no credit card is required to generate and download audio.
Do I need to install any software?
No. Voxelle runs entirely in the browser — type text, pick a voice, generate, and download the MP3. There is nothing to install.
Which model and voices does it use?
Speech is generated by the Fish Audio s2.1-pro model. The licensed catalog currently lists 82 voices across 13 languages; Voxelle does not train its own voice models.
What is the per-request character limit?
Each generation request is limited to 1,000 characters. The daily check-in allowance is 1,500 characters, resets at 00:00 UTC, and does not roll over.
Is there an API?
Yes. Signed-in users can mint an API key under API keys and call the authenticated REST endpoint to generate speech programmatically.
